4 Creative Tools were implemented & examined
SCAMPER Tool :
The scamper tool is one of the ideating tools. It aims to create different ideas from what you originally have. The SCAMPER tool was applied to the 1st grade students using the "Door" as an object. Asking the questions below, children were able to create different forms of the door:
I will combine the door with my super hero Put an ipad into the door and open it using a password Remove it and put a sheep skin instead Put the door on the floor and open it up Notes: I was amazed by the excitement the children had. The presentation was too long. I wish i had eliminated two or three of the elements. |

Assisters & Resisters Tool:
How does it work? We use a big paper, divide it into two sections, one is for Assisters which are (elements that help you reach your goal) & Resisters which are (elements that prevent you from reaching your goal). And start asking those 6 questions for each column (why, what, where, who, when & how).
How did we present this tool:

The How Tool:
The How tool is a divergent tool that allows the user to create many solutions and go in depth into each one. Then choose the suitable one for him. What is amazing about this tool is the amount of generated ideas. The user "puts up all his cards on the table" as said. It clears the way for any option selected. This young lady in the video is a new graduate pharmacist. She is seeking a solution to generate her next step in life. I intended to use the "How" tool so as for her to put all her options, simplify them into detailed elements (using this question: How to apply the previous step). At the end of this session, she got 5 detailed options and was able to go home, study them and choose the easiest one to achieve and go on with her new life! |

Morphological Matrix Tool:
This is a convergent tool that combine a solutions from different options. It can be used to write a story, create a slogan, a logo or write a paragraph title. This activity was has been applied on the 2nd grade students to create a story:
